Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (Technical University), TU MIET — Russian higher educational institution in the field of microelectronics. Founded in 1965 as the Soviet Union's center of electronic and micro-electronic engineering, the university is located in the formerlly closed city of Zelenograd, in the north of Moscow. The institute was often considered the center of the "Soviet Silicon Valley."
Official Russian name — Московский государственный институт электронной техники (технический университет), МИЭТ.
Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology is official name for international usage, but some times it may be referred as Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering (MIEE) or Moscow State Institute of Electronic Technology,
