Bio:

I’m a second year commerce student at Canterbury University hoping to major in Management. I work at Spotless Services Ltd doing food and beverage work at the Christchurch Convention Centre, Westpac Centre and Jade Stadium here in Christchurch. Because I work in these venues, I have seen a lot of high profile concerts, sports fixtures and events in the 4 years that I have worked there.

I also work with the Canterbury Rams basketball team to organise and run any off-court functions held by the rams for players, stakeholders and fans. I am involved in this through my Marketing course at Canterbury University.

I enjoying having a good time. I like a wide range of Movies, Sports, TV Shows and Games. I also enjoy having a few drinks with mates. Outside of uni I enjoy learning about the Weather, Geography, natural disaters and astronomy. I’m also getting quite interested in both New Zealand and International politics. Personally I consider myself to have a centre-left wing viewpoint politically. I also like to keep up with current events and news.

I believe the world is a great place. I think that living in New Zealand I am very lucky to live in such a beautiful place. But unfortunatly the world could also be a lot better, and I have some very strong opinions on various issues which have and will continue to be posted in this blog.

Below are some of my interests in depth:

Music: I enjoy listening to (at full volume) wide range of rock Music. I like New Rock (such as Jack Johnson, Weezer, Shihad, Velvet Revolver, U2) to Classic Rock (Such as GNR, Bon Jovi, Queen, Led Zepplin) to Metal (Such as Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down). I hate Rap and Hip-Hop, i also dislike a lot of pop-rock bands like Evinesence.

Movies: I am a huge Comedy movie fan, i also enjoy good action and thriller movies. I also dont mind the odd Horror, but not too often. I dont really like fantasy movies that much.

Games: I enjoy a lot of types of games. I like FPS games like Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Far Cry, F.E.A.R, Counter Strike and many others. I also enjoy RPG style games (offline) such as Final Fantasy 7, 10, 10-2 and 12, fable and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

News: As mentioned above, I like to keep up with the latest news and current events. specifically the latest Tech news, IT News, Internet News, Gaming news, NZ News, Business News, International news and Political News.

Sports: I enjoy many different sports, but the main ones are Cricket, Rugby Union, Biking, Rugby League and the V8’s.

Best Places in thw World: Christchurch - my home city, one of the most beautiful cities in NZ, Kaiteriteri - In the Abel Tasman National Park, Stunning place in Summer.
