There seem to be a lot of NPOV problems with this article. Just some of the clearly biased statements I found included :

  • "Mortis deservedly won the Best Engineered Award"
  • "Somebody on the technical team wanted Mortis to win no matter what, so Napalm would go out instead. Mentorn edited out the original run and only ever showed the second one."
  • "due to the biased editing by Mentorn it was made to appear that Mortis had a really close battle in the semi final against Panic Attack."

Interestingly, not all the contentious statements are biased towards Mortis (see the middle one), but there certainly seems to be a bit of friction going on, and a lot of statements about the performance of the robot that are both unsourced and clearly biased one way or the other. Is anyone able to take a more balanced look at the article, and perhaps even find some sources, and sort it out? Seb Patrick 13:03, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disambiguation section?

Is it normal to have a section about disambiguation, with the rest of the article talking about a specific meaning? It seems odd. --GargoyleMT 19:41, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

It's just simply a sub-standard article. I don't think it should be deleted because the robot did make a number of TV appearances, and it seems that other bots have articles too. Basically it needs a complete reedit and I can't be bothered (oh and I have no expertise in the area, that doesn't help). There are hold sentences and paragraphs that need to be removed.
