The Master Morya first became known when H. P. Blavatsky claimed him and the Master Koot Hoomi as her spirit guides in establishing the Theosophical Society. Blavatsky claimed Morya and Koot Hoomi belonged to a group of highly developed humans, The Great White Brotherhood. Moryas personality has since been depicted in great, and often conflicting, detail by various neo-theosophical groupings.
Morya is believed to have Ascended in 1898, and his Spiritual Retreat is said to be located at Darjeeling, India. [1]
