Morton Schindel (1918--) is an American producer, the founder of Weston Woods Institute and Studios in 1983. He is known for bringing children's picture books to cinema yet staying loyal to their plots. He was awarded the Regina Medal in 1979. Schindel holds a BH from the Universiy of Pennsylvania.
