Morr
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Morr is the god of death and sleep or dreams in the Warhammer Fantasy universe. His little brother is Khaine, the evil lord of murder.
Morr is worshiped throughout the old world as the god of death and there are shrines or temples to him in almost every town and city in the Empire in his role as the god of death. There are few references or shrines however to him with regards to his aspect as god of sleep and dreams.

[edit] Appearance
Morr's appearance can be likened to a brooding gentlemen, whose role is to guide the dead to his realm.
[edit] Allies and Enemies
Morr's principle enemies are Ranald, the deceiver and anyone who prevents him from receiving souls that are rightfully his, eg those who practice Necromancy.
Death comes to all in the end and Morr counts the other cults and gods as his friends with the exception of his brother Khaine who despises him.
[edit] Organised Worship and order
Although the church of Morr is an established religion in the old world, in many cases it is a matter of paying homage to Morr during funerals and lip service the rest of the time. Many worship but few do so as the primary deity with which they are concerned, this honour goes to Sigmar.
The church of Morr does have a number of priests, and at least two orders. The order of the Raven knights and The Knights of Morr although this author is unclear as to the relationship between these two orders. The Order of the Raven Knights own the small town Siegfriedhof which is situated near the border to Sylvania in Stirland, a perfect location to counter the evil forces of the undead as far as these knights are concerned.
Those more devoted to Morr may join one of these organisations, who are often devoted to the destruction of the undead and known for their lack of fear of death. This makes them strong opponents in the field of battle.
