Morning Musume Sakuragumi (モーニング娘。 さくら組?) is one of the subgroups that divided the group Morning Musume in 2003. The sole purpose of each group was to perform in small towns that couldn't hold concerts for large groups. Aside from separate tours, each group released two singles before they became inactive on Spring 2004.
The words sakura and gumi means "cherry blossom" and "group," respectively. If translated in English, the group's name will be "Morning Musume, the Cherry Blossom Group."
