Morley Schloss and family hosted the Rochester Naturists group from his home for years before "taking the fight" to the streets. As a result of the legal battles waged by the Schlosses and more importantly the Top Free Seven, it is now legal for women to be topfree in the state of New York.

Morley's wife, Mary Lou Schloss, and Ramona Santorelli, along with five other women and with Morley Schloss' support, first held a topfree picnic at a public park in Rochester, New York in 1986. They were immediately arrested, and their case traveled through the New York court system until 1992, when the New York Court of Appeals ruled unanimously that, "the Exposure of a Person law does not apply to the non-commercial and not lewd exposure of women's breasts."

Today, Morley is still very active fighting for naturist rights with the Naturist Action Committee.
