Morgan Corinthos

Morgan Corinthos, full name Morgan Stone Corinthos, is a fictional character on the soap opera General Hospital. He is the son of Sonny Corinthos and Carly Corinthos. He was born when his mother was being held captive by his half-uncle Ric Lansing, who planned to take Morgan and raise him as his own son with Ric's wife Elizabeth. During the mistake thinking that his emeny Lorenzo Alcazar was raping his wife, Sonny accidentally shot Carly in the head while she was giving birth to Morgan. Morgan was cared for in his first months by his half-aunt Courtney Matthews, who is now deceased. Morgan was named after Carly and Sonny's good friend Jason Morgan. His middle name was given in honor of Michael "Stone" Cates, Sonny's friend who died of AIDS. During his short life, Sonny and Carly have fought over custody of Morgan and his older brother Michael several times.
