Morgan Burkhart

Morgan Burkhart (born January 29, 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri) is a former first baseman in Major League Baseball who played for the Boston Red Sox (2000-01) and Kansas City Royals (2003). He was a switch hitter and threw left handed.

In a three-season career, Burkhart posted a .248 batting average with five home runs and 23 RBI in 42 games played.

Currently, Burkhart plays for the Angelopolis Tigres of the Mexican Pacific League.

  • Was named Most Valuable Player of the Mexican Winter League for the 1999-2000 season
