More Tears
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
More Tears was a Canadian television series, which aired on CBC Television in 1998. The series was a short run dramedy, produced and written by Ken Finkleman following the success of his 1996 series The Newsroom, and was in part a remake of Federico Fellini's 8½.
Finkleman also starred in the series as George Findlay, the same character he had played in The Newsroom. In More Tears, Findlay was now a documentary producer, who readily manipulated his documentary subjects in order to create better television. The show also explored Findlay's personal life, including his unhappy marriage and extramarital affairs.
The cast also included Hrant Alianak, Arsinée Khanjian, Leah Pinsent, and Kenny Vadas.
Finkleman's next project for the CBC was the series Foolish Heart.
