Morcott

Morcott is a village in the county of Rutland in the East Midlands of England. It is located about seven miles south-east of Oakham. In 2001 it had a population of 349.

It once had a railway station on the branch line between Seaton and Luffenham. It closed in 1966.

The village mosts a large manor house which, for a considerable period was a girl's school. It has since been turned into luxury flats.
