Moore River (Western Australia)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Moore River in Western Australia includes a catchment that extends from just south of Three Springs to Guilderton. The river mouth at Guilderton typically closes during the summer months due to insufficient water.

The river is named after George Fletcher Moore who discovered and named it in 1836 as the first European to explore the area.
