[edit] Edit summaries
Thanks for taking the time to update many of the BSG articles on Wikipedia. In the future, please try to fill out the edit summaries, and mark minor edits as appropriate. It makes it a lot easier to figure out what's going on, especially when lots of people are clamoring to make changes following the airing of an episode, and over 100 changes appear in a short span of time... -- Fru1tbat 18:53, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you. I'm a relatively new user, and appreciate your constructive criticism. I'll keep your points in mind when editing in the future. Monsieurxander 00:58, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] BSG Cleanup
I appreciate that you're trying to clean up the BSG hierarchy, and believe me, it needs it, but some of your recent edits have consisted of rather large comprehensive deletions. These sorts of things are probably best discussed before implementing. Minor cleanup is one thing, but deleting entire sections is another. I do agree with some of your edits, but I think others need to be discussed first. -- Fru1tbat 16:44, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Guess I took the whole "be bold" thing too far. I do think, though, that the entire "Themes" section should be written from scratch, or at least edited *heavily.* If someone wants to retrieve it, they can, and I'll wait for a consensus to be reached. Thanks again for the heads up. Monsieurxander 16:51, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- You're definitely right about the "Themes" section. It's much more like an essay than an encyclopedia article... It probably doesn't belong at all, and what factual information it does contain is mostly repeated (and more appropriate) elsewhere. I was just trying to preempt a general edit/revert war... Having looked over the section, I'm not sure if there's anything there worth keeping at all, at least without significant citations. -- Fru1tbat 17:02, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
