"Solberg has also expressed that he has friends in the blogging world who "inspire" him. One of those inspiring blogging friends, is the anti-aboriginal blogger Kate McMillan, owner of the Small Dead Animals blog who has called for Canada to recreate residential schools for indigenous children in Canada, as well as saying "Canada needs institutions to lock up the Indian activists and apologists..."

If his "well known blog" is important enough to comment on, then why not some commentary about the content of that blog?

Mr.Solberg has been asked repeatedly by various progressive bloggers in Canada about his "inspiring friendship" with Kate McMillan. He has chosen to ignore her racism and bigotry towards Aisan, Aboriginals and Angolans.

So clearly he has no problem with being associated with this woman. In fact.. he seems "proud" of his association with her.

I could understand a mention of McMillan if:

• The part of the article about Solberg's blog were much larger than it is;
• The mention was clearly NPOV;
• It was proportional to the actual relevance of the information.

As it stands, the section about McMillan stands out as a major criticism of Solberg in a relatively short encyclopedia entry. I'm sure there far more substantive criticisms of Solberg out there, is this guilt-by-association really necessary? -Joshuapaquin 17:34, August 31, 2005 (UTC)

Actually, she said "We need institutions to lock up the Indian activists and apologists", (http://westernstandard.blogs.com/shotgun/2004/12/normans_spectat_9.html). So if we're going to restore that sentence it should read "[Canada] need[s] institutions to lock up the Indian activists and apologists". Though I don't think we should preffix it with "anti-aborgional blogger". How about using "blogger" and letting the quotes speak for themselves. 24.226.18.229 22:00, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
