Monu - magazine on urbanism is a unique forum for critical thought on urban issues. Each issue collects essays, projects and photographs from writers from all over the world to a given topic. Thus Monu examines topics that are important to the future of our cities and urban regions from a variety of perspectives. Monu – magazine on urbanism is a US-European cooperation anchored by one co-editor in Rotterdam (Bernd Upmeyer) and one in NYC/Cambridge (Thomas Soehl). The magazine has had a very successful start in summer 2004 and is receiving a steadily increasing number of submissions and visits on its homepage.
