Monty Beisel (born August 20, 1978 in Douglass, Kansas) is a linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals. He previously played for the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Chiefs from 2001 to 2004. He was released by the New England Patriots on September 2nd, 2006, after the final 53-man roster cutdowns were announced for the NFL 2006-2007 season. He attended high school at Douglass High in Kansas and has track records there still pending.

Beisel attended college at Kansas State University as a Social Sciences/Mass Communications major. Beisel also played in 44 games accumulating 192 tackles (110 solo), 22.0 sacks, 45.0 stops for loss and 18 passes defensed. He was a two-time first-team Academic All-Big 12 selection. He also received All-Big 12 Conference honorable mention and was a second-team Academic All-Big 12 pick.

While public relations is Beisel's chosen profession, his excellence in football has led him to a flourishing career in the NFL as a middle linebacker.

On November 30, 2005, In response to a Providence Journal article written by Tom Curran criticizing his play of late, Beisel went on an expletive laden tirade. "Why do you have to come to my locker and rub it in? That’s your professionalism? You slash me in front of everybody? What kind of (expletive) is that?" Beisel then turned to the Patriots media relations director, Stacey James: "How are you going to let him come over to my locker like that? You’re not supposed to be allowing that (expletive). You’re not supposed to make me look bad. I’m a PR guy myself."
