Montopoli di Sabina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium, located about 40 km northeast of Rome and about 20 km southwest of Rieti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,829 and an area of 37.6 km2.[1]
Montopoli di Sabina borders the following municipalities: Castelnuovo di Farfa, Fara in Sabina, Fiano Romano, Montelibretti, Nazzano, Poggio Mirteto, Salisano, Torrita Tiberina.
