Monterrey Metropolitan area

The Monterrey metropolitan area refers to the conurbation around the city of Monterrey, officially called Zona Metropolitana de la Ciudad de Monterrey or ZMM (English: Metropolitan Zone of Monterrey).

The Monterrey metropolitan area is composed of the municipalities/cities of:

1. Apodaca
2. Escobedo
3. García
4. Guadalupe
5. Juarez
6. San Nicolás de los Garza
7. San Pedro Garza García
8. Santa Catarina




There are four adjacent towns that are not yet totally adjacent to the urbanized area, but are considered strategic as the metropolitan area grows and integrates them:

Santiago
Ciénega de Flores
Salinas Victoria
Pesquería
