Monteforte d'Alpone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 80 km west of Venice and about 25 km east of Verona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,597 and an area of 20.4 km2.[1]
The municipality of Monteforte d'Alpone contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Brognoligo and Costalunga e Sarmazza.
Monteforte d'Alpone borders the following municipalities: Gambellara, Montecchia di Crosara, San Bonifacio, and Soave.
