Monte Urano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ascoli Piceno in the Italian region Marche, located about 50 km south of Ancona and about 40 km north of Ascoli Piceno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,996 and an area of 16.7 km2.[1]
Monte Urano borders the following municipalities: Fermo, Montegranaro, Sant'Elpidio a Mare, Torre San Patrizio.
