Monte Batalhas (Portuguese meaning battling mountain, Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEC: Monti Batadjas) is a mountain in the island of Maioin Cape Verde.

The mountain are made up of rocks with soil colours being orange-like, tan and light brown. The mountain contains slopes and a few ledges. The mountain features grasslands in the low-lying areas but a trace on the mountain area. Unpaved and earthened roads encircles the mountain and are not frequently used. A few farmlands are around the mountain.

The mountain offers a panoramic view of much of the entire island except for areas blocked by several mountains and some hills. It also offers a view of the island of Santiago to the west and parts of Boa Vista to the north.
