Montagu is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa.
It is 180km from Cape Town on the Route 62 scenic route. Montagu is a tourist destination known for its hot mineral springs. It is also an agricultural centre including orchards, vineyards, fynbos and local herbs. Nearby rock formations make it one of the country's major mountain climbing centres.
