Montagny-près-Yverdon is a municipality in the district of Yverdon of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, near Lake Neuchâtel. It has about 625 inhabitants (end of 2005), most of them French-speaking. Its history goes back to at least the 12th century, but the medieval castle and church no longer exist. The current church, with two bells, was built in 1769. At one time on the Roman road connecting Yverdon with Sainte-Croix, it is now on an autoroute.
