Mont Albert North is a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, in the state of Victoria. It is in the Local Government Area of the City of Whitehorse. Previously, the area was part of Box Hill North, until a council initiative in the late 1990s aimed to give the region an "identity" of its own. The Northern border or the suburb is the Eastern Freeway and the Southern border is Kenmare Steet, while Elgar Road constitutes the boundary in the East. The Western boundary is a series of back streets running close to Union Road. This boundary follows the municipal boundary with the City of Boroondara.
