Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club

The Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club is an American amusement show to be opened at Disney's Magic Kingdom in the Walt Disney World Resort. The Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor is set to open in early 2007 in Tomorrowland as announced by the Disney,[1] but TheLaughingPlace.com reports the show will open in the fourth week of January.[2]
[edit] Attraction Synopsis
The Laugh Floor Comedy Club will feature characters from the Disney/Pixar animated hit Monsters Inc.. The Disney Imagineers have designed an interactive show led by two of the main characters from the film, Mike Wazowski and Roz. The premise for the attraction will revolve around Mike owning and running the new comedy club and having to collect laughs by the audience to help power Metropolis as shown in the end of the film. The "Monster-of-Ceremonies" Mike will bring two comedian wannabes who will entertain audiences with slapstick humor. A unique feature for the ride is guests ability to text message jokes to a special number in the ride where some jokes sent will be used. The seats will be cocktail tables, as used in actual comedy clubs, which will face three central screens where the show is going on. [3]

The attraction will be located in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom. The Comedy Club will replace longtime Disney Circle-Vision attraction The Timekeeper. The theater will seat 400 guests.
