Monserrato is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cagliari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 5 km northeast of Cagliari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 20,768 and an area of 6.4 km2.[1]
Monserrato borders the following municipalities: Cagliari, Quartu Sant'Elena, Quartucciu, Selargius.
