Monkswood is a small residential area in Welwyn Garden City,Hertfordshire.

Population and Housing

The area contains around 300 houses and flats and the population is around 500.

Local Area

The area is 0.2 km from Monks Walk School and 0.8 km from the Shoplands shopping parade. The area is very close to the Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club.

Transport

The area is served by the a number of local bus services which take passengers to Welwyn Garden City town centre and Welwyn Village, as well as Stevenage.
