Monika Olejnik

Monika Olejnik (born in 1956) is famous Polish radio, paper and TV journalist.

She studied zoology, then also journalism at Warsaw University. First she worked in Polish Radio I in a programme for farmers.

In 1982 she started work in Polish Radio III and she stayed there until 2000. She was well-known for her interviews with politics and other public persons in "Salon Polityczny Trójki". In TVN Television she worked on the programme "Kropka nad i" ("Dot over i"). Since January 2001 she has been working for Radio ZET in "Gość Radia ZET" ("Guest of Radio ZET") and a Sunday programme, "Siódmy dzień tygodnia" ("Seventh Day of the week"). Since September 2004 she is an interviewer for "Prosto w oczy" ("Straight into eyes"), a programme on Polish Television Channel I. Actually, she worked again on the "Kropka nad i" ("Dot over i"). Her talk-show since September 2006 is in TVN24.

Monika Olejnik won prizes for journalism.
