Monday Bandele

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Monday Bandele is a fictional football (soccer) player who appeared on the British drama Dream Team, about the equally fictitious Harchester United. He is played by Louis Decosta Johnson.

Squad Number: 8, Monday signed from PSG for £2million after a long drawn-out saga, when the deal appeared to be dead in the water. Having played under manager Ray Wyatt during the gaffer's time in Monaco, the twice African Footballer of the Year was more than happy to put pen to paper and commit his future to the Dragons. Monday is a thoughtful and intelligent footballer, befitting a player who has played at the highest level on the world stage. Quick, powerful and skilful, he is one of the best strikers in the Premiership and his numerous goals immediately transformed Harchester's season. Off the pitch, his arranged marriage to Siobhan is flourishing, and he regularly sends money back to Nigeria for his family and various charities

He was eventually forced out of the club by manager Patrick Doyle because Doyle was trying to get the club relegated from the Premier Division and needed Bandele out of the squad.
