Mona Vale, New South Wales

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mona Vale is a suburb located on the northern beaches of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia roughly twenty kilometres north from the city centre. It features two primary schools and one high school, a large RSL club, a park, a sunken public library, a golf course, a hospital, a bus depot, and a good variety of shops. It is demographically a very homogeneous Anglo-Saxon suburb, but minority groups are slowly on the rise.

In 2005, it became the council seat of Pittwater Council after the council chambers moved from Warriewood.
