Céline recorded German version of this song called "Mon Ami, Geh Nicht Fort". It was a B-side to "Was Bedeute Ich Dir" single (German version of "D'Amour Ou d'Amitié"), released in Germany in 1984.

What's interesting, "Mon Ami M'A Quittée" was released as a single in Holland in 1997 by BR Music. It was also a part of Céline's 2005 official French best of album On Ne Change Pas.
