Momentum (2001) | This Christmas (2002)
|
Momentum is the first album released by Toby McKeehan under the name tobyMac. Also McKeehan is one of the three dc Talkers, and has expressed plans to continue recording with the other Talkers in the future.
The album was well-received in the world of Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) and was nominated for a Grammy when it was released in 2001. It contains a message of tolerance, in line with tobyMac's personal push for diversity in society.
Other Christian music artists to appear on this CD include Kirk Franklin ("J Train"), Joanna Valencia ("Somebody's Watching Me", "Irene", "Wondering Why", "Do You Know"), and Adrienne Liesching ("What's Goin' Down"). This CD prompted a remix album called ReMix: Momentum, which was released in 2003.
