[edit] Spoiler
I was going to add a spoiler warning- but where should I do it? Emily (Funtrivia Freak) 01:19, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Molly's parents
Molly's parents were NOT Ignatius and Lucretia Prewett -- they died childless. Molly was cousin to Sirius BY MARRIAGE, therefore Ignatius is most probably Molly's uncle. I'll correct that.
[edit] Harry's robes
Molly Weasly does not buy Harry better robes ( in GoF ) ignoring Ron. The robes for Harry were purchased with his own money ( from Gringotts ), whereas for Ron, she buys it out of their own money ( which is considerably less ).
This has to be changed in the article.
Done. Note that you can and should feel free to make such changes yourself when you can verify your information, as is the case here. As for this specific case, it's important to keep Molly's flippant treatment of Ron in the paragraph, but to also note the reason that Harry got much better robes. Venknat 19:31, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV
This article strikes me as having some POV issues... the whole, "Is Molly too inattentive to her own kids?" and "She's rude to Fleur" (actually, she tells Ginny not to be rude to Fleur, and, though she doesn't like her or welcome her, she's not the one calling her Phlegm, while Fleur is the one doing things like insulting Molly's home, cooking, and musical tastes). I'm not saying one can't interpret the actions that way, but it is an interpretation. I don't want to start making changes there without getting some kind of consensus, though.Miss w 16:20, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I agree, they should be changed. John Reaves 16:23, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

- She is rather rude to Fleur, actually. I'm going to keep silent on the kid issue. But I suggest that Miss W acquaint herself more thoroughly with article writing before lecturing - after all, given that she has tried every conceivable argument to suggest why Rowling didn't mean a blatantly clear sentence regarding Andromeda's house, I think her NPOV skills are rather deficient (if you don't understand, look at the Andromeda Tonks page). - Ah, I see we're starting this again. The question here is about whether "rude" is a value judgment or an objective fact. And I'm quite aware of NPoV.Miss w 22:06, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
