I agree. Merge them for now. Later we might split it up, something like

I would suggest not to merge "molecular engineering" with "molecular nanotechnology". The term "molecular engineering" is not only used in the context of nanotechnology but also in (molecular) chemistry at large, especially by chemists (who probably invented this term before the advent of nanotechnology - but I will have to verify this...) Once I find the time I will try and clean up the "molecular engineering" article and include a section on the use of this term in chemistry (where it relates to the design and chemical synthesis of molecules with specific physical, chemical or biological properties)
