Moldejazz is an international jazz festival held annually in Molde, Norway since 1961.

It is one of the biggest, most important, and oldest jazz festivals in Europe. 36,000 tickets were sold for events during the 2002 festival. Between 80,000 and 100,000 visitors are estimated to have visited the city during the one-week long event.

Big internationally acknowledged artists, including Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Lester Bowie, Sonny Stitt, Dexter Gordon, Karin Krog, Keith Jarrett, Joseph Jarman, John Scofield, Phil Woods, BB King, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Santana, Lauryn Hill James Brown, Bob Dylan, Jeff Healey, Joe Cocker, Chick Corea, Sting, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder, have performed at the jazz festival.

The 46th festival was opened by former Niorwegian minister of culture, Åse Kleveland, on July 17th, 2006. The most famous artist of the 2006 program was Sting.
