Mokona (もこな Mokona?) is a member of the all-female manga-creating team CLAMP. She is the lead artist on the team, the colorist, and in charge of composition.
She was formerly known as Mokona Apapa (もこなあぱぱ?). Her reason for dropping "Apapa" from her name was that it sounded too immature for her liking.
As revealed in Satsuki Igarashi's column in Newtype USA, the group met Yoshikazu Yasuhiko and Mokona revealed that she was quite the Mobile Suit Gundam fanatic.
