It's not acceptable to use uncited phrases such as "Gifted and creative" and "His style is ample and accurate". See WP:NPOV. --UlTiMuS - ( T | C ) 10:03, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

I've removed the more POV terms, and changed it to a more 'cited' format, but there are still no citations. You would have thought someone who has composed more than 650 pieces of music and performed at international events would appear on Google at least once. Citations please or this may qualify as unverifiable. -- zzuuzz (talk) 12:40, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Well, it is always going to be difficult finding sources for Iranian musicians, but after searching on the internet some, in my opinion there is at least some verifiability (eg [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]) - other editors may differ in their view but I think in view of the material I'd be inclined not to pursue a course of deletion at this time. It would help if we could get more third-party sources though. The quotes and descriptions in the article, mentioned above, are from Shams' own website, and I've amended them to indicate as much. Note the article on the French wiki provides no additional material, and in fact appears to be a copyvio of Shams' own website. To the editor who keeps putting the semi-protected tag on the article - please note it doesn't offer any extra protection, and it would be great if you could stop putting it in the article in case it puts off any anonymous editors who want to improve the article or supply the much needed references. Your article will be quite safe here - unless the community decides to delete it of course. -- zzuuzz (talk) 14:27, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
