Mohammad Haque

Mohammad "Hawk" Haque, along with Ananth Panagariya, authors webcomic Applegeeks.
Haque attended Northwestern High School. He is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Haque is an accomplished artist, designer, and programmer. He is primarily a digital artist, and at the young age of 23, he already has a considerable body of work under his belt.
Haque's professional career began at the age of 15, where he worked as a web programmer. When his employers discovered he had a creative streak in him, he was moved to the graphics dept., which is where he spent the next several years. He currently works at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as a graphic designer, web designer, and Flash specialist.
Haque is best known for his work on the Internet, particularly the webcomic Applegeeks. He and Ananth Panagariya opened the site in November 2002, and have been maintaining it since. He also runs a personal site with several other artists, under the title Hawkstudios[1]. Since the comics' inception, they have gone to various conventions, particularly Otakon and Katsucon, to promote their work and meet their readers.
In addition to Applegeeks, Haque and Panagariya had a 9-page short titled Seven published in the graphic novel anthology Disposable Parts. More recently, Haque and Panagariya have produced the short Disconnect for City Limits, a graphic novel anthology by Day Media. Haque has also finished a large project for popular webcomic Penny Arcade, for the collectable card game (CCG) based on the property. He is also the recipient of a CGTalk Choice Award.
