I'm still trying to find out when the first 5 Rupee coin came into circulation. Amahabal has put a date of 1985. Just want to make sure if that is circulated or uncirculated. --Viren 13:40, Feb 12, 2005 (UTC)
- Circulated. The coin had Indira Gandhi on it, and did not have the date printed. According to the KM catalogue, 59.2 million were minted, so it must be circulated. The currently common 5 Rupee coin started in 1992. Amahabal 15:38, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)
