MJB Da MVP is a single by U.S. soul singer Mary J. Blige, taken from her seventh studio album The Breakthrough and her best of collection Reflections - A Retrospective. The song was first played on US radio in 2005 and due to strong airplay, it charted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #75, before the first official single, "Be Without You" was released from The Breakthrough.
Finally, one year on from the song's initial airplay, the song will be released in the UK as the lead single from her best of album Reflections - A Retrospective on 18 December. "MJB Da MVP" was added to the playlist of UK radio station BBC Radio 1 on 22nd November, while the video for the single, a montage video, was released later that week.
The Cool & Dre produced track is a remix to "Hate It or Love It", a single performed by 50 Cent and The Game. In the new vocal part, Mary J. relates the ups and downs of her career and expresses thanks to Dr. Dre and The Game for letting her work on a track that is "hot!".
