This article is about the former town in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. There is a town with the same name in Fukui Prefecture, see Miyama, Fukui, and there was another Miyama in Gifu Prefecture that merged into the city of Yamagata.
Miyama (美山町; -cho) was a town located in Kitakuwada District, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 5,070 and a density of 14.89 persons per km². The total area was 340.47 km².

On January 1, 2006 the town of Miyama from Kitakuwada District merged with the towns of Hiyoshi, Sonobe and Yagi from Funai District to form the new city of Nantan.
