Miura Yoshiatsu

Miura Yoshiatsu (三浦義同?) (????-1516) Miura Yoshitatus, son of Uesugi Takamasa, and daimyo of the Sagami region. Later on, Yoshiatsu was adopted by Miura Tokitaka, but soon on overthrew the clan and established Miura Yoshimoto as his son, of the Arai Castle. While Yoshiatsu resided at Okazaki, he gave Arai to his son.
When the later took over the Odawara Caslte, Yoshiatsu became involved in a war against Hōjō Sōun. After Yoshiatsu's land was attacked during the year of 1512, Yoshiatsu retreated to the castle of Arai. After the Hōjō defeated Yoshiatsu's allies, Yoshiatsu became isolated. In the year of 1516, the castle finally fell to the Hōjō. Yoshiatsu and his son, Yoshimoto had no choice but to both commit suicide.
