[edit] Liesti in Romania.PNG
Salut,
I've seen you've added the map Image:Liesti in Romania.PNG. Could you provide the source of it, and also a copyright tag for it? Thank you Mihai -talk 01:46, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- imi e teama ca doar am prelucrat una. Totusi, nu inteleg, de ce ii trebuie un copyright, de vreme ce imaginea respectiva nu e in folosul meu, ci al celor care cauta respectivul item —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mitrutpopoiu (talk • contribs) .

- Salut,
-
- I would prefer to talk in english, because this is the custom here, so that other users will be able tu undrestand in case of need. I must aknowledge that I cannot remember what was wrong with that image because it is almost a moth ago when I stumbled upon it. The ideea is that due to legal matters, all the images or media that is uploaded to Wikipedia must have a source and a copyright related to it. I know that this is the most puwwling thing about Wikipedia, but this is how things must be done in order for this project to work. So, when you upload an image you MUST say where you got it from, wether it was made by you, or if you modified one you must provide the source image you modified. After that you can add a copyright tag which is apropriate for the image and you can find an almoast complete list HERE. If you are not sure you can select from the list on the license selector on the upload page the fact that you are not shure which is the correct copyright, or add the {{Don't know}} tag to the image page. Someone will come and based on the image source you have provided will decide which is the apropriate copyright for that image. That's about it, with the images. One more thing though, see that when you add a comment on a talk page, you do not forget to sign yourself. You can do that by adding four tildes like this: ~~~~. Mihai -talk 11:24, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
