Misterbianco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 160 km southeast of Palermo and about 6 km west of Catania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 45,961 and an area of 37.5 km².^[1]

The municipality of Misterbianco contains the frazione (subdivision) Piano Tavola.

Misterbianco borders the following municipalities: Camporotondo Etneo, Catania, Motta Sant'Anastasia, San Pietro Clarenza.
