Mississippi Highway 6
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mississippi Highway 6 runs east-west from MS 161 in Lyon, Mississippi, Mississippi, east to MS 25 near Amory, Mississippi. It travels approximately 136 miles, serving Coahoma, Quitman, Panola, Lafayette, Pontotoc, Lee, and Monroe Counties. West of Tupelo, it is concurrent with US 278. Traffic can be horrible on Football Saturdays, because it is the main inlet and outlet to get to the University of Mississippi.
