Miss Universe 1984

Miss Universe 1984, the 33rd Miss Universe pageant, was held at Miami Convention Center in Miami, Florida, USA on July 9, 1984. Yvonne Ryding of Sweden was crowned Miss Universe 1984, the third titleholder from that country. Eighty-one contestants competed in the pageant.

- Two delegates withdrew from the competition, Jamaica, and Nilmini Iddamaigoda of Sri Lanka, who was depressed and homesick.[1]
