[edit] Character history

Miss Martian, the white Martian known as M'gann M'orzz, is a member of the Teen Titans during the year between the events depicted in Infinite Crisis and the "One Year Later" stories. In her Earth form, M'orzz has green skin, shoulder-length red hair, dresses in a mini-skirt version of Martian Manhunter's outfit, and uses the Earth name "Megan Morse". During a series of flashbacks and appearances in Teen Titans 37-40, the writers gradually reveal that M'orzz was pretending to be a green Martian, and served as a member of the Titans during the year skipped by the "One Year Later" storyline, eventually resigning from the Titans and becoming a superhero in Australia. Although Teen Titans issues 39 and 40 initially suggested that Miss Martian might be a traitor, she was eventually revealed to be loyal to the team. At the end of issue 40 she rejoined the team, primarily so that she can watch over Kid Devil, who's soul she fears is in danger.

[edit] Powers

Miss Martian possesses abilites similar to Martian Manhunter. She can fly, shapeshift, turn intangible and fire energy blasts from her eyes. She is also a telepath who can read minds.

[edit] Trivia

Miss Martian is named "Megan Morse" after Wizard Magazine writer Ben Morse's girlfriend, Megan. Morse is a friend of writer Geoff Johns[1].
