[edit] Typical Format

Miss Lori greets the viewers by saying hello in a different language. Then Miss Lori and Hooper talk to each other. They are usually trying to solve a problem they have. Then, Curious George's funding is shown followed by the first part. After half of it is over, Miss Lori talks to the viewers. The live-action part of the program, is then showed, followed by the other half of Curious George. Then, Miss Lori talks shortly again to the viewers. The second live-action part is then shown. Miss Lori then talks about the problem that they must solve. This is when the credits are shown on the computer monitor. Close to the end, the PBS KIDS doink sound is heard, and Miss Lori is reminded about fun at pbskids.org. Then, Miss Lori says what show is next. If Miss Lori has little to say, the credits will come off the computer monitor and fill the television screen. Then funding is shown. A "coming up next" ad is then seen which Clifford. Then the first break comes on. Some stations do not show localized breaks, while some others do.

Miss Lori and Hooper are still figuring problems out. Then, Clifford the Big Red Dog's funding is shown followed by the first half of the program, like Curious George and the other programs. The rest of this 30-minute segment in the block is similar to the Curious George part. Although, after the the halves of Clifford have been shown, the song of the day is sung. Bands singing the song are listed above. After that, the credits are shown. And, instead of Clifford being next, it would be Dragon Tales. The second break is then shown.

Miss Lori is reminded about the game of the day at pbskids.org from the doink sound. On the computer monitor, Dash leaps out of the PBS Kids logo, and starts introducing the game. He teaches viewers how to play the game. The viewers can sometimes play along. Then, Dash says, "Thanks for playing! Gotta dash!" After that, Dragon Tales's funding is shown, followed by the first part of the 30-episode. Between the two halves of Dragon Tales, Miss Lori teaches the children the new dance. Hooper usually participates. After that, a shortened Dragon Tune is shown. Then, the second half of Dragon Tales is seen. The same credits idea is shown again. Then funding is shown. Then the third break come on.

By now, Miss Lori and Hooper have usually resolved the problem. Then, funding is shown for It's a Big Big World. The first half of the program then comes on. Between the two parts, Miss Lori and Hooper usually wrap things up and review what they talked about, followed by the second half of the show. Then, the credits are shown, still like the other credit schemes, but then Miss Lori says, "Thanks for coming, you did a great job today!". Then an ad for Curious George comes on, most likely because there is no permanent show that is next nationally. Finally, an ad for PBS Kids Ready to Learn comes on.

[edit] Idents

Within this block, there are many different idents after each program. They do not include the PBS Kids boy or girl as of September 1999, except for the last few seconds when Dash is shown in the PBS Kids logo. Some include still pictures of real children, but do occasionally move a little bit. These idents usually have a general theme, such as dinosaurs, bees, a picnic, or someone talking pictures with a camera.
