Miss East Africa UK is an annual beauty pageant that takes place during World Aids Week. The purpose of the pageant is to raise money for children that have been orphaned due to either HIV or Genocide within Eastern African Countries.

Prior to the event it is very common to see the girls in celebrity nightclubs such as Embassy and Opium.

Miss East Africa UK 2006 will be held at Heaven, London on the 3 December 2006.

The charity event is supported by many celebrities such as Kemal Shahin, Makosi Musambasi, Vanessa Layton-McIntosh, Donatella Panayiotou and Rachel Ritfeld.
